The subjects of scientific research of the Department of Physics and Engineering Mechanics are:
-research of physical characteristics of objects of organic and inorganic origin
-electronic and ionic (electron-ion) technology of pre-sowing processing and storage of agricultural production
-engineering problems of irregular geometrical shape objects
-synthesis and research of physical characteristics of semiconducting mono- and nanocrystals.
There is an agrometeorological station at the Department of Physics and Engineering Mechanics. Different atmospheric phenomena are observed here. The results of these observations are used in training process and scientific research of students.
